In addition, Google has got official Android programming language i.e Kotlin. It is a statically-typed programming language that runs on the (JVM) Java Virtual Machine. In actual Java Virtual Machine converts the normal code into Java byte code which can be used by apps or programs anytime later. Its primary development is from a team of JetBrains programmers based in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

The new Android Studio 3.0 will be packed with Kotlin support. It will reduce many headaches for Android developers as it will solve problems such as runtime exceptions and source code verbosity. The language will continue to be developed and supported by JetBrains.

It is easy to learn and implement the Kotlin can be used in the existing projects of Android. It is too good feature that you can preserve your old works with the use of new programming language.
