Google Calender And BBC iPlayer Receives App Update

Today Google updated its Calendar App for Android and its available for download from Play Store for devices running on Android 4.0.3. Google has improved notifications, location entry and event creation on its new version of Calendar App.

In this new version you can call directly from notifications and even can get directions on the map. Now it also suggests location while creating an event and we can create any event from Month view directly. And the notification also includes the option to snooze, just in case you are not quite ready.

One more app received update today and that is BBC iPlayer. Now new version supports Android 4.2 and better quality video. Now There’s also support for Gaelic-language TV channel BBC Alba, which may be of interest to viewers in Scotland. Tablet-users can expect a better experience on their larger devices, with an updated user interface.
