Google Chrome for Android Gets the ability to read Web Pages Offline

Google rolls out the ability to download the page to read it later last year. Now Google is improving that feature i.e. now you can download web pages even if you’re offline and can read those pages later.

In the latest update Google rolls out some improvements in Chrome. Now if you long press any link and article suggested in on the new tab page, you will get download link. Moreover, now when out of network you will see a Download Page Later below the dinosaur. After taping on it the page will be downloaded automatically when you get online.

All the web pages which you have downloaded for Offline reading will be available, when you open a new tab. You will see articles that you have downloaded tagged with a new offline badge

This will be quite handy feature when you lose the network in a dead zone. To use this feature you have to be on latest version of Google Chrome for Android. You can download it from Play Store.
