Google Chromebook Pixel Is Here With For $1,300

Google has launched Chromebook Pixel today and is available for purchase from Google Play Store for $1,300. After many rumors Google has finally jumped into the high end laptop market. Overall its a high-resolution laptop running Chrome OS and weighs 3.35 lbs with dimensions of 297.7 x 224.6 x 16.2 mm.

Coming on to features of Google Chromebook Pixel which consists 12.85-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and give resolution of upto 2560 x 1700 having pixel density of 239 PP. Its display carries about 4.3 million pixels. There’s also 400 nit screen and anything on the display can be viewed upto 178-degree. In order to secure its display from external elements Google has safeguarded it with Gorilla Glass multi-touch screen. Its powered by Intel i5 Processor (Dual Core, 1.8GHz) and to accelerate its graphics it have Integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000.

We wanted to make sure Chrome OS is in that segment, This is the future – high resolution and touchscreen, and we’re behind in the laptop world, We want to push the ecosystem and web development forward, so this can be thought of as a reference device, in the same way as the Nexus, that will inspire a whole new generation of devices.”

Google will ship two versions of the Pixel, one with Wi-Fi only and one with an integrated Verizon LTE modem. It is priced for a WiFi-only Pixel for $1,299, and an LTE-enabled version for $1,449. You can place order now fromth eplay store link above. It will begin shipping in the US in April.
