Google To Focus More On Offline Pixel 2 sales in India

Google announced the Pixel 2 And Pixel 2 XL on October 4th in San Francisco. Following the launch, Rick Osterloh and Mario Queiroz of Google said Gadgets360 that they will focus more on offline sales and marketing in India.

This isn’t a new thing, even Xiaomi the online-only brand now has offline presence in India by opening their Mi homes across the country and through Mi preferred partners programme. The Google employees also stated that most Indians purchase premium smartphones only after experiencing it.

The last year’s Pixels were available both online and offline, but this time Google wants to sell more devices offline. Rick said that their focus was online last year, but now they understood the needs of Indian customers. Mario even stated that they are expanding their marketing investment to increase their presence and sales in India.

Though Google changed their strategy in India, will the new Pixels sell more for their hefty asking price compared to less pricing in other countries? Only time will tell.
