Google to focus more on offline channels sales for Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL

As we know recently, Google launched it’s most awaited smartphone Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. But this time for it Google has some different plans for it’s marketing. The American giant wants to concentrate on offline retails channels in India. This step has been taken by Google to improve the commercial presence of it’s predecessors in the offline market in South Asian country India.

This has been reported by a number of Google Executives to our sources this week. The Google Hardware heads have revealed that though the device will be available for sale online. Along with that the device will also be available with the maximum retailers in India. But when we look at statistics it says that offline sales are the main growth generators in the country. The reason cited is that the in Indian people prefer to try the phone checking it out before spending money on it.

The Pixel device did not work that good when it came to sales. But now Google has learnt from it’s previous mistake as we can. As Google has now decided to concentrate on offline sales by retailers too.

Well, whether this strategy works or no we will need to wait for it. Though the cost of the device is much more higher than the purchasing  power of an individual in the country.  The device costs around $950 for Google Pixel 2 while $1,260 for Google Pixel 2 XL the 128GB variant.

For those who want to pre-order the device you can do that from 26th October onwards on Flipkart the exclusive online distribution partner of Google. For further update stay connected to us.
