Google Unveils Android Tablets with Google Play for Education

Google has announced the launch of Android tablets with “Google Play for Education” on Wednesday in the United States, and we hope that it follows in other countries soon.. Nexus 7 is the first tablet to arrive with Google Play for Education built-in and it is now available directly to schools, so we know that we don’t have any open market for Google Play for Education right now.

Have a look at the specifications of the devices which support the Google Play for Education.

“Google Play for Education is an extension of Google Play designed for schools. Here educators can discover apps approved by teachers for teachers, as well as educational videos and a collection of classic books for their classroom. Teachers can search for approved apps by grade, subject and standard, including Common Core, pay using a purchase order, and deploy the content to students instantly,” Recently Google wrote in a blog post.

Pricing:  Nexus 7 – $259, Asus Transformer Pad – $279, both prices include Management, support, & Google Play for Education cost. There is no word on HP Slate 8 Pro price at this point.
