Google’s Breakfast Wrap Up: Android 4.3, New Nexus 7, Chromecast and Much More

Finally all expected things are here, google yesterday launched New Nexus 7 device along with Android 4.3. Google also revealed Chromecast which allows you to stream videos on your tv and other devices directly from your PC. Let’s discuss what happened yesterday at event:

First of all, Google launched newer version of Android operating system, Android 4.3 packed with lots of new features and performance boosts. It includes the redesigned camera interface, general performance improvements for the OS including smoother animations, and long-awaited Bluetooth Low Energy support. Next up is New Nexus 7, its the highest resolution tablet having 7 inch display with 323 pixels per inch. Other features Include 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 8064 processor, 2GB RAM, 5MP rear Camera, 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera along with Bluetooth 4.0. More can be found here. Now comes the revolutionary device, Google Chromecast – not much bigger than the keys that unlock my front door. It allows users to stream videos from a phone, tablet or laptop to their TV. The new connector device is on sale for $US35 online at Google play and will also be sold through Amazon and Best Buy in the United States. Its extension is also available now in Chrome store.

Google Play Games is another service, Google launched yesterday at Breakfast event. It highlights games and brings together your gamer friends. It simplifies the social gaming as you can challenging your friends in head-to-head competitions. Checkout details of the Google play Games and download it.

Google also announced 70 million tablet activations, and over one million apps are available for download in the Play Store.
