Google’s Device Health Services System App Hits Play Store

If you own one of the Nexus or Pixel devices you might have noticed an update available for an app called ‘Device Health Services’. According to Google, it is a service which predicts how long your battery lasts based on your usage. Today, Google made it available from the play store to provide seamless updates.

The new update brings the app to version 1.0.2 . The changelog provided by Google is as follow :-

  • Model & Infrastructure improvements
  • More models
  • Bug fixes

This app shows how long your phone has been unplugged and how long your battery will last based on your usage. As for end users, there are no other visual treat in the app. Everything happens background as it is merely an app to provide accurate battery calculations.

It is a good thing that Google uploaded this app to the play store. Now, they can update the app without providing a system update. Download the ‘Device Health Services’ app from the play store. The app seems to be region specific and it is not available in India yet. If you want to install it so badly download the new update from APKMirror .
