Yesterday, we reported Nexus 6P accident shutdown issue. Specifically it shutdowns when the battery is still left. The phone suddenly gets shutdown, then you need to connect to the charger to “continue using the device.”
As a manufacturer, Huawei customer service has said that there’s no problem with the hardware, it is with the Software. But downgrading from Android 7.0 back to 6.0 is also not even solving the problem.
According to the VentureBeat, Huawei and Google have joined hands to initiate an investigation. More and more users have started getting this problem.
Here are some raw comments of the customers facing these issues on Google Product forum:
- “Nexus 6p shuts down when battery gets to 21% and is completely dead?”
- “I’ve noticed that my Nexus 6p turns off telling me that the battery is empty when it turns under 25% of it. Suddenly the battery % indicator goes from 25% to 1% and it turns off”
There are many more complaints. So guys don’t worry Google and Huawei has started working to find the fix.
