LG is Rolling Out Android Wear 2.0 on both G Watch R and Watch Urbane


Android Wear 2.0 was released in February 2017. Now LG is Rolling Out Android Wear 2.0 on both G Watch R and Watch Urbane. The update is based on Android Nougat 7.1.1 and includes several improvements.

Google has unveil the Android Wear 2.0 in February 2017. Since than users are waiting for the update. With Android Wear 2.0 you can use the standalone apps on your smartwatches. Earlier we have to install a native app on our phones also if we want to use it on our smartwatches. Furthermore, watch faces are now much more customizable and can be modified using information from apps and even shortcuts to direct actions.

The Huawei watch 1st gen also gets the Android Wear 2.0 last month. Moreover Fossil and Tag Heuer announced there Android Wear 2.0 powered Smartwatch. Coming back to the LG update, If the notification is not popped up on your watch. You can check it manually, if your watch says it’s on the latest firmware, continue to tap on the green tick and it should get the latest update for you.
