Moto Z Play Starts Getting April Android Security Patch


Moto Z Play starts getting the April’s Android Security Patch. The update is currently rolling out in Canada on Koodo’s network and some Brazilian users also reported the update via reddit . The update comes with Software build number NPNS25-137-24-1-9.

The update is packed with Security patch along with fixes for specific vulnerabilities in the Android operating system while also resolving some security issues related to the particular software running on the Moto Z Play. Moreover, the update comes with lots of improvements in user interface. Although there is still no Android 7.0 Nougat.

As the update is not official yet so we don’t know when the roll out will begin in other countries. But we think as the update is starts rolling out in Canada and Brazil other regions of the globe will also gets the update very soon.

Anyhow as the update is rolling out over the air it might take couple of days time to reach each and every unit in both these countries.
