Chrome and Android head Sundar Pichai has revealed to Bloomberg Businessweek that Google will show off the next major version of Android at I/O this week. “I want the world to understand what we are doing sooner,” Pichai said in the profile piece. According to Pichai, this is an attempt to increase transparency in the development of Android, which has previously been remarkably secretive for an open source platform. No details on the “L” release were given.

Also there will be the release of Android TV along with Android Wear (We are looking for smartwatches from Motorola, LG and Samsung running the tweaked version of Android for watches)as per the reports and earlier reports. We are also waiting for the new Nexus devices (Particularly, Nexus 9 tablet which is speculated to be manufactured by HTC) or the silver series.

BTW what you guys are waiting for? Android Version? Nexus device, Android wear or Something Else? Share your views via comments below.
