On various forums, Nokia 3 users are reporting that the August Security patch is now rolling on their devices. Nokia is constantly rolling out the update on Nokia 5, 3 and 7, 6.1 and few other devices. The update packs all the latest security patches that has been added in the August Security Patch.
The Nokia 3 August Security patch is now available in different markets. i.e. India on model TA-1032 and in Kurdistan. The update measures around 92.8 MB in size. We suggest you to switch to the WiFi network to save data costs. Also keep your battery charged upto atleast 60% for flawless update.
The official changelog also talks about the August Security patch, there’s nothing else that has been added or fixed. The recent security update brings many fixes for some major flaws that were critically vulnerable.
So, manually check your update if you have not received until now. You can do so by heading over to the Settings menu and then about section. Over there you will see System Update option to check the update.
