Nothing Phone (1) gets a new update with UI improvements and bug fixes

It’s not been even a month since the Nothing Phone (1) was unveiled on the market. The company has already released a couple of updates for the smartphone. Now again, the device is receiving a new software dubbed Nothing OS 1.1.2. Although it is a minor update, it does pack some practical improvements and bug fixes.

The latest software update for the Nothing Phone (1) arrives on firmware version S1.1-220728-0051, which weighs approximately 39MB to download.

As for modifications, this is a minor update. However, it carries some important improvements and bug fixes to improve the user experience. After flashing the new update, the always-on display feature will have a custom schedule by default. The mode will automatically be turned off during the night.

In addition, the build adds a toggle to show the fingerprint icon when the screen is asleep. Also, the changelog claims to improve the charging performance and compatibility with 3rd party chargers. Moreover, it optimizes some minor UI details, which precisely remain unknown at the moment. Besides, the build resolves some bugs as well as Bluetooth codec issue and bring stability improvements.
