OnePlus 3 and 3T will get Android O Update, Confirmed by CEO


Oneplus 3 and 3T are the launched late last year. At the time of launch both Oneplus 3 and 3T runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. Now Oneplus CEO says both the phones will be upgraded to Android O which is yet to launch. The information is shared in a tweet by Pete Lau, Oneplus CEO and Founder.

Android O is expected to launch along with Google Pixel devices later this year. Coming back to Android O update, Oneplus 2 users also expecting the Android Update. But there is no information regarding this.

For a reminder, OnePlus 3T features 5.5 inches Full HD Optic-AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It hosts Snapdragon 821 at 2.35GHz, along with Adreno 530 GPU and 6GB of RAM. There’s a 16MP camera on the front as well as on the back side.

Oneplus 3 packs with snapdragone 820 Soc and it is backed up by the 3000 mAh battery. Rest all the specs are same as Oneplus 3T have.
