OnePlus 5 is indeed a true flagship killer. The device was topping the rumors before it was officially released a few weeks ago. The OnePlus flagship has again appeared in the news when OnePlus released a teaser indicating that a new OnePlus 5 variant is coming soon. The teaser listed on Amazon India reveals the source code that strongly suggest that the company is going to release a Gold color variant of the smartphone.
The source code on Amazon India’s OnePlus 5 teaser was first noticed by Twitter user KaranArjun007. The twitter user mentioned the well-known leakster Evan Blass in the tweet asking ‘Evan did you find the leak?’ As you may know, Chrome browser allows viewing the source code of the web page you visit. Earlier, Evan Blass leaked a similar post ahead of the OnePlus 5 launch.
While the source code only indicates that a Gold variant of the OnePlus 5 will be released, therefore, no further details are available about the upcoming Gold variant. However, it is being speculated that OnePlus 5 Gold variant could be available in both 8GB/128GB and 6GB/64GB options. Further, there is no indication whether the Gold variant will be priced differently or same as the other two variants.
