OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition official renders leak reveals Warp Charge

A few days back, OnePlus announced a partnership with McLaren Automotive and McLaren Racing for a special edition OnePlus 6T. The Chinese smartphone maker has even sent media invites for the launch on December 11 (Woking, London) and December 12 (Mumbai, India) respectively. And now, the OnePlus 6T Mclaren Edition official renders leak in full glory revealing Warp Charge.

OnePlus already teased the presence of Warp Charge a mere hours before this leak by Ishan Agarwal on Twitter. But, what they didn’t mention is the charging speed. According to the leaked renders, Warp Charge will get you through the day with only 20 minutes of charging. Warp Charge could be the rebranded version of Oppo’s Super VOOC charge which is currently the fastest solution to charge phones along with Huawei’s SuperCharge.

Other than the new charging technology, the OnePlus 6T will come with 10GB RAM as leaked earlier. Like any other OnePlus special edition phones before, the McLaren Edition will be available in a different color. The device will sport an orange accent fading through the bottom edges to the top. The back panel, however, will feature a carbon fiber design. And there’s also a McLaren logo at the rear bottom emphasizing the partnership.

Coming to the internals, it will be certainly powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. And rest all features, will be as same as that of the regular OnePlus 6T. The only difference will be the presence of 10GB RAM and Warp charge. It will most probably available in a single variant dubbed as ‘OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition Speed Orange‘ with 256GB ROM.
