OnePlus 7 Pro receives maiden update with DC Diming and April security patch

It’s been just a few minutes since OnePlus officially unveiled the new and powerful OnePlus 7 Pro globally in India, US and some European nations. The new devices feature a gigantic 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED QHD+ display with the resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels at the pixel density of 516 ppi. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 with all new triple camera module makes it fully loaded devices.

The base OxygenOS 9.5.0 receives an update to OxygenOS 9.5.2 after connecting to the internet. The update brings last time bug fixes and some features promised by OnePlus in the tasers. The OnePlus7ProOxygen_21_1905010142 firmware adds DC Dimming feature to protect your eyes from strain while using the AMOLED display device in low brightness.

The update further adds scrolling improvements and some other tweaks which will improve the overall experience while using the OnePlus 7 Pro. The gaming mode has received a major upgrade with enhanced audiovisual experience using haptic feedback. It also added Fnatic mode to enhance the gaming experience on the device. Digital Wellbeing is also improved with Wind Down and Grayscale feature.

The camera is also optimized for better photo quality. The OxygenOS 9.5.2 update on OnePlus 7 Pro weighs 494 MB in size.

You can manually check for the udapte by heading to Settings > System > System Updates.
