OnePlus 8T receives OxygenOS 11.0.9.9 Update

OnePlus is known as the brand of the customers. The brand is known for making some of the finest smartphones to date. OnePlus 8T is one such pioneer from the brand. The flagship has been the benchmark for smartphone enthusiasts from the very first day of its launch. OnePlus also keep its smartphones up to date with the latest software to match the latest models in the market. And now, the OnePlus 8T receives OxygenOS 11.0.9.9 update in the UK and North America.

The updates, namely 11.0.9.9.KB05BA (for UK) 11.0.9.9.KB05AA​ (for NA) doesn’t seem to bring anything game-changing on the surface. However, it comes with certain underlying performance improvements and bug fixes.

As said earlier, the update includes stability improvements and bug fixes for the device. According to OnePlus, this update mainly focuses on fixes for region-specific issues in EU and NA regions. 

The update focuses on stability improvements. OnePlus also said that they’ve fixed known bugs and issues within the OS. The screen flash issue has also been resolved with this update. Users were reporting this while shooting in NIGHTSCAPE mode. Another addition to the device is the new OnePlus Store. Which as always, the user can uninstall it if they’re not planning to use it. The application let the user manage their OnePlus account more conveniently. The user will also get easy access to support.

Like every other OTA update, this one will also be distributed in batches to avoid traffic. OnePlus said that the update will reach a small percentage of users today. Based on their response OnePlus will start rolling out the update on a broader scale. Lucky you if you got it already. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait like the rest of us.
