OnePlus Nord N300 5G confirmed to launch in November, specs revealed

OnePlus spokesperson Spenser Blank confirmed the launch of a new smartphone next month: the OnePlus Nord N300 5G. The company will launch the smartphone in North America next month as a successor to OnePlus Nord N200. In addition, the company also reveals some key specs, including the processor, charging details, and more. Here is what we know about the device so far.

As with every Nord series smartphone, the OnePlus Nord N300 5G will be a budget offering with 5G network support. For the record, its predecessor is also the most affordable device from the company till now. Reportedly, the upcoming handset will be limited to the US. In addition, we have an idea bout the display, chipset, charging capacity, and more.

Under the hood, the 5G-powered device will equip a MediaTek octa-core processor, confirms Blank. However, the exact chipset is still under wraps. Although we expect it to be a Dimensity 700/ 810 SoC. Anyway, in that case, this will be the first OnePlus Nord smartphone in North America to carry a MediaTek SoC.

As for the display, the OnePlus Nord N300 5G’s panel will support a 90Hz screen refresh rate for an IPS LCD screen. As per rumors, it will carry a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner. Moreover, the spokesperson confirmed 33W fast charging support. As for battery capacity, it can be a 5000 mAh unit.

To recall, the smartphone was spotted on the FCC certification website with the model number CPH2389. The portal confirmed the support for six 5G bands: n2,n25,n41, n66, n71, and n77.
