OnePlus launched an affordable variant of the OnePlus Nord before launching a successor to the same. The OnePlus Nord CE is the trimmed-down version as it comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G instead of the Snapdragon 765G seen on the original Nord. It came with OxygenOS 11-based on Android 11 and has received few updates since the launch. OnePlus has now pushed the OxygenOS 184.108.40.206 for the OnePlus Nord CE. Here is the full changelog of the new update:
- Improved system performance
- Updated Android security patch to 2021.07
- Upgrade Google GMS to 2021.06
- Optimized camera effects to take a better photo
The update has been rolling out for the Indian, European, and North American variants. The Indian variant gets the build number 220.127.116.11.EB13DA and the European units receiving the update as 18.104.22.168EB13BA firmware. At the same time, the North American units receive the update with 22.214.171.124.EB13AA build number.
Apart from the regular bug fixes, OnePlus has upgraded the Security Patch (July). Even though it isn’t the latest, the security patch bumps up to July 2021. Further, OnePlus has updated the Google GMS (Google mobile services) to June 2021. Apart from these changes, OnePlus has fixed camera issues.
As usual, the new update is rolling out via OTA (Over the Air) and will take some time to reach your unit. OnePlus has confirmed that the broader rollout will begin only after the successful verification of the update. To check if the update has reached your OnePlus Nord CE smartphone, follow the steps.
