Oppo A53 receives the Android 11 based ColorOS 11 beta update


Oppo A53 is receiving the Android 11 based ColorOS 11 beta version update. The update is rolling out in India and Indonesia as of now and will reach other regions soon. Recently, Oppo A91 received the ColorOS 11 beta update that came with loads of new features.

The New Update

The ColorOS 11 beta update brings several visual and functional changes to Oppo A53 that make it easier to operate the device. The new update includes an inbuilt screen recorder, messaging bubbles, a revamped power menu, and more. It also brings fixes to many known issues except the one where in some cases the phone fails to scan the virus when unlocked. According to the reports, the company is going to fix this known issue in the next version of the update.

The new ColorOS 11 beta update for Oppo A53 changes the smartphone’s build number to A.69/A.77. The users need to register their devices to receive the ColorOS 11 beta version update and experience its features. It is currently rolling out in India and Indonesia and the users should back up their data before updating the device.

The users will receive the update only when they register themselves for the beta update. They can register themselves by navigating to their device’s Settings >> Apply for Beta Version >> Update Beta Version. The next step requires the users to follow the application guide to complete the registration process.
