After the launch of Poco F4 earlier this year, the company is reportedly working to unveil the successor variant: Poco F5 5G. However, as always, there are no official words yet. Although, the key specifications of the upcoming F-series iteration have managed to leak online. It is likely to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K60 5G, which will make its debut next year.
As said, the handset will first make its entry in China as Redmi K60 5G, later followed by the other markets as Poco F4 5G. As revealed by the IMEI database, the upcoming Poco smartphone will bear the model number 23013PC75G/I in the Global and Indian markets respectively. Whereas, the Redmi K60 in the domestic market will be marked with the 23013RK75C model number.
In addition, the reports disclose the codename “Mandrian” for the approaching 5G handset. Further, the rumors have claimed to know the display and processor details.
As per leaks, the Poco F4 5G will feature an AMOLED display. The panel can offer a 2K resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, making it the first Poco smartphone to do so. Besides, it can provide a 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits of brightness as well. Under the hood, it is tipped to draw power from an octa-core processor based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1.
Considering the model numbers, the Redmi device will launch in China early next year. While the Poco F4 5G will debut afterward. As of now, this is all we know about the upcoming smartphones. The rest of the specs, including the camera, battery, and more are still under wraps.
