Xiaomi’s spin-off brand Poco officially launched the Poco C40 in June 2022 as an entry-level offering. At the front, the device features a 6.71-inch HD+ LCD display. Underneath, it is powered by a JLQ JR510 processor paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. For software, it boosts Android 11 along with MIUI 13 on top. In terms of camera, there’s a 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera and a 5MP single front-facing lens. Also, it ships with a 6,000 mAh with an 18W fast charging support.

- [September 15, 2022]: Poco C40 starts receiving the August 2022 Security patch in the European region with the firmware V188.8.131.52.RGFEUXM.
- [August 31, 2022]: Poco C40 Global is getting the August 2022 Security patch via firmware version V184.108.40.206.RGFMIXM.
- [August 4, 2022]: Xiaomi is releasing the first software update for the Poco C40 smartphone. The build arrives on firmware version V220.127.116.11.RGFMIXM. It increases the system security by integrating the June 2022 security patch. Other than this, the version does not bring any other changes.
