The Realme Narzo 50A Prime and Realme GT Neo 3 are scheduled to launch in India this month. In the meantime, the company has surprisingly unveiled the Realme GT 2 as its latest budget offering in the country. The launch is said to be part of Realme’s upcoming 4th-anniversary special. Anyway, here’s a detailed look at the latest Realme GT 2.

The Realme GT 2 is built around a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The panel provides a 120Hz refresh rate, a 92.6% screen-to-body ratio, 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution, and 1300 nits peak brightness.
Under the hood, a Snapdragon 888 5G SoC powers the Realme GT 2. The phone comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For software, the device boosts Android 12 OS out of the box along with Realme UI 3.0 on top.
In terms of optics, a 50MP primary lens leads the triple-camera setup on the rear side. Alongside, there’s an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. At the front, Realme GT 2 houses a 16MP selfie camera.
In addition, the handset packs a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. The other specifications include an NFC, an in-display fingerprint scanner, a dual speaker setup, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res Audio certification.
Availability and Price
The Realme GT 2 will go on sale via Flipkart and Realme.com from April 28 in Paper Green, Paper White, and Steel Black color options. The device arrives in 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB storage variant priced at ₹34,999 and ₹34,999, respectively.
