Keep in note that the update is in the ‘Stable Beta’ phase, making it available for selected users. A border rollout will follow in the upcoming days after ensuring that there are no major left.

For those unaware, the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is known as Mi 10i in India. Whereas, it is sold as Mi 10T Lite in other markets. The Lite variant equips a 64MP primary camera instead of 108MP in other markets. Concluding from this, these variants could also get the MIUI 12.5 update soon.

The MIUI 12.5 Android skin is a bridge between the MIUI 12 and MIUI 13. However, the company did not reveal much about the skin. But it surely brings improved performance, UI tweaks, new animations and system sounds, a bunch of privacy features, an updated Notes app, and a lot more.
