Samsung devices to get Android 9.0 Pie update by early 2019

Samsung is already late in delivering the latest updates for their Android smartphones. Unlike OnePlus, Essential and few other OEMs, Samsung is among the folks, which have never rolled out update really quick. Similarly, this time also, Samsung has confimed to roll out the Android 9.0 Pie update by the early 2019.

According to a post on the Samsung+ app, the Korean giant has revealed that the final software version of the latest Android iteration will reach until “early next year.” Well, it seems Samsung is going to take a lot more time in testing the beta builds for the Galaxy S9 and S9+. Usually, major OEMs take a month or two for testing the beta version of the new Android version but it is not understandable why the testing will take so much time.

Alongside, Samsung confirmed some features that the latest update will bring. Ther will be around 157 new emojis including all the new and old faces liek a mooncake, teddy bear, etc. There will be an AI-based Adaptive battery feature which will learn the device’s usage patterns and will shift to different modes to save addtional battery.

We know the wait for an official update is quite long, but we have no option left. Users can also update using different custom ROMs on different Samsung devices. We suggest you guys wait for the official update. Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are slated to get Android 9.0 Pie beta update soon across users in the US, UK, and South Korea.
