[Update: June 2023 Security Patch] Samsung Galaxy A41 update tracker

In Q3 2020, Samsung officially launched Galaxy A41 with Android 10 pre-installed. The phone features a 6.1-inch Super AMOLED screen paired with 4GB RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it powers an octa-core processor based on the Mediatek Helio P65 chipset and Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. In the shooting department, the phone houses a 48MP triple rear camera and a 25MP front snapper.

  • [June 30, 2023]: Samsung has rolled out the June 2023 security update to the Galaxy A41. The firmware versions for the Galaxy A41 June update firmware version is A415FXXS4DWF1 and the new updates only bring security improvements.
  • [January 23, 2023]: Galaxy A41 is getting January 2023 patch with firmware vA415FXXS2DWA2 update in Europe. The features January 2023 security update that fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities.
  • [September 9, 2022]: A new update with firmware version F415FXXU2CVH1 is rolling out for the Galaxy A41. The package is available in India with August 2022 security patch. The patch addresses over a dozen vulnerabilities and 31 exposures affecting Samsung apps and software. Besides this, the version does not carry any other changes.
  • [May 18, 2022]: Samsung Galaxy A41 is finally receiving the Android 12 update tossed with One UI 4.1. The build is rolling out in Russia with firmware version  A415FXXU1DVDB. Along with the revamped UI and tons of new features, the package also enhances privacy by integrating the April 2022 security patch.
  • [March 17, 2022]: Samsung is releasing the current security maintenance, March 2022 to Galaxy A41. The update is rolling out in Albania, Russia, and Switzerland via firmware version A415FXXS1CVC1.
  • [February 4, 2022]: The Galaxy A41 is receiving the January 2022 security patch in Brazil via the A415FXXU1CVA3. The patch fixes dozens of vulnerabilities related to privacy and security.
  • [November 29, 2021]: The November 2021 patch is expanding to the Netherlands and Belgium units of Galaxy A41. The update arrives on the firmware version A415FXXU1CUJ3 weighing 640MB in size. Besides regular fixes bought in by the patch, the adds the shortcut for the Bedtime Mode.
  • [November 5, 2021]: Samsung is releasing November 2021 security patch for Galaxy A41. The update is rolling out in Russia with firmware version A415FXXU1CUJ3. Besides the dozens of fixes added by the patch, the package can also carry some general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
  • [July 8, 2021]: The Galaxy A41 units in the Netherlands and Belgium are grabbing the May 2021 security patch. The update arrives on firmware version A415FXXU1CUF3 which weighs over 420MB in size. Alongside this, the Quick Share function is also improved as mentioned in the changelog.
  • [April 28, 2021]: Samsung Galaxy A41 is grabbing the latest customized skin, One UI 3.1. The new package is rolling out in Russia for model number SM-A415F.   • [June 11, 2020]: Samsung started rolling out the June 2020 security patch update for Galaxy A41. The fresh build can be identified by the A415FXXU1ATE5 firmware version. According to the release notes provided by the Korean giant, the update includes only the new security patch, and there are no new features added to the device. Though, internally it fixes several bugs ensuring the proper functioning and a seamless experience.

As the update is having a phase-wise rollout, it may take some time to reach all the units. In the meantime, you can head to Settings > Software updates > Security updates to check the update manually. We also suggest you switch over to a WiFi network before downloading the update to avoid data charges.
