Samsung Galaxy A71 gets April 2021 Security patch update

Samsung launched the Galaxy A71 in December 2019 with Android 10 based One UI 2.0. Now, the smartphone started receiving April 2021 Security patch a few hours ago. The update bears the firmware version number A715FZHU4BUC1. Presently, the update of the smartphone is seeding only in Hong Kong. However, we expect the update to roll out in other countries soon.

Following the updates in late 2020, it is seen to follow a similar pattern and the update is expected to reach all the regions by mid-April. To receive the update, you can manually check it by heading to Settings >>Software Settings >>Updates >>Download and Install.

The users of Galaxy A71 still perceive the update as pretty fresh since Samsung updated their 2020 value to Android 11.

Samsung Galaxy A71 sports a 6.7-inch touchscreen display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor. It is paired with 8GB RAM coupled with 128GB extendable to 512GB internal storage.

In the camera department, the smartphone comes with a 64MP primary rear camera and a 32MP front camera. The smartphone is packed with a 4,500mAh battery and connecting options include GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and WiFi.
