Google Play Music’s last update let user to discard the Android app

Google gave enough warnings and statements to transfer the data to YouTube Music before officially eliminating its Play Music service. Now that the app has become scrap still, it seems that the platform requires one last update that will let users discard the Android app completely. Even for those who have migrated the particulars, this update is essential to permanently hide/delete the app.

As you know, many Android smartphones come pre-installed with Gapps that include the Play Music app. Ultimately, there is no way to uninstall it, despite the service is no longer available to the users. However, this is not going to be an issue anymore, as with this final update, the users will be able to hide the app and all data associated with it.

Though, there are devices that allow users to easily uninstall the Play Music app. But those who can’t do it should tap tap the “Hide app” and/or “Delete all local data” options after updating Google Play Music via Play Store.

Once both of these options are selected, the Play Music app will no longer be able to run on your smartphone. Plus, there will be no trace left as it will no longer appear in the app drawer as well.
