Samsung Galaxy Fold gets Android 11 via One UI 3.0 Update

Samsung is unfurling its uniquely designed UI 3.0 based on Android 11 to worthy handsets. Following Galaxy Z Fold 2, the Samsung Galaxy Fold is receiving Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update.

The update with the firmware version F900U1UEU4DUA3 features Android 11 like chat bubbles, a conversation section in the notifications area, one-time permissions and media playback widget. There’s also a refreshed user interface and enhanced stock Samsung apps including UI 3.0 skin on top coupled with February 2021 security patch.

It is a staggered update so you have to wait till the OTA update reaches your device. You can even check manually by visiting phone Settings > Software Update.

Samsung Galaxy Fold Specifications

Galaxy Fold was released in 2019, September featuring foldable Dynamic AMOLED, HDR10+ display and 7.3-inch screen size. The smartphone was launched with Android 9.0 (Pie), later upgraded to Android 10 last year. It is coupled with Qualcomm SM8150 Snapdragon 855 (7 nm) chipset along with Adreno 640 GPU and Octa-core CPU. It is up for grabs in a single 512 GB + 12 GB RAM storage variant. If we talk about the camera of the dual-display device then it packs triple-rear module consisting a 12 MP wide + 12 MP telephoto + 16 MP ultra-wide and dual front lens embracing 10 MP + 8 MP wide camera.
