Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) starts receiving October Security Patch

Samsung starts rolling out Android security patch for the month of October on its Galaxy J3 (2017). The update is rolling out with Firmware version J327UUEU1AQJ1 in US.  Recently Samsung has rolled out October security patch to its flagship devices and some other mid range devices.

Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) update contains no new features other than the october security patch. Which bring fixes for 215 vulnerabilities in the Android operating system. Fixes for six vulnerabilities in Samsung’s own software are included as well.

The owners of Galaxy J3 2017 is getting update notifications. If someone did not get the update notification don’t panic it will reach you in couple of days time. Meanwhile you can also check it manually through settings>>about phone>>software updates.

For Reminder, Galaxy J3 2017 features a 5-inch 720 x 1280 HD display and also has the same amount of RAM that is 1.5 GB. Its got the same 5-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and 1080p video recording and a 2-megapixel front camera with a f/2.2 aperture for photography. It has 16 GB storage expandable up to 256 GB. The battery is also the same 2600mAh. What’s different? The processor. It’s a Snapdragon 425 or an Exynos 7570 processor depending upon the region you live in.
