After flashing the Samsung Browser update, you will get an enhanced search experience, protection against transparent pixels, page support, and more along with several enhancements and refinements.

The major attraction of the new software is the “Focus Mode.” The URL bar which was accessible from the top has now reached the bottom of the screen with this feature. Therefore, it will be easier to reach the bar and switch sites with one hand. However, the feature is optional and can be enabled from within the browser settings.

Just like the focus mode, the next feature is also similar to the iOS 15 version of Apple‘s Safari browser. Samsung Internet is getting support for the group tabs. Thus, making it more comfortable for users to group related tabs together. Moreover, you can also rename, edit, or delete your group tabs as required.

The next change is the “Labs feature” which brings the support for HTTPS upgrades. Once enabled, all the web pages will be upgraded to HTTPS automatically. Furthermore, you can now disable your status bar from the settings to get an uninterrupted view of your screen.

The features are rolling out as Samsung Internet 16.0.2. You can experience the new version by updating the app from Google Play Store or Galaxy Store.
