Samsung S10e and S10 5G starts receiving Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update

After rolling out Android 11 for Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, the Korean giant now started rolling out Android 11 update for the Galaxy S10e and Galaxy S10 5G. While the Galaxy S10 and S10+ rollout has not started yet, but we expect them to receive the update soon. The update is currently rolling out only in Indonesia for now.

One UI 3.0 Features

This new update brings Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update to these devices. It brings various new improvements and under the hood changes. One UI 3.0 improvements include a brand new notification panel, smoother animations along with Android 11-based changes. Moreover, the update brings notification bubbles, privacy improvements, and more. Furthermore, the update adds new animations throughout the UI for a more appealing experience. Now, one can just double tap on the home screen to lock the device. Other improvements include new performance and camera optimizations.

To recall, Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup back in 2019. The S10 series of smartphones were one of the first to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. The smartphone was launched with Android 9 base One UI 1.0 out of the box. It later received the Android 10 based One UI 2.0 update. Since it’s launch, Samsung is bringing various improvements to these devices. Furthermore, Samsung has now started rolling the Android 11 update for the S10 series line up.
