This is no surprise as Samsung is the only manufacturer of best OLED panels in the world. They have been doing this for a long time, hence no other display manufacturers could compete against them. Thus, Apple has no other choice than shaking hands with their rival for best displays. On the other hand, Samsung makes more out of it along with the sales of their own smartphones.

According to reports, the OLED panel supplied by Samsung to Apple for their iPhone X cost around $110 each. Which means Samsung will make almost $22 billion in revenue for shipping 200 million OLED panels next year. This is really a big amount of money just for supplying displays. Samsung also supplies some other parts to Apple for their iPhones, thus it won’t affect them when LG will be start providing their panels to Apple from 2020 according to earlier reports.

This report confirms that Samsung will be leading the display market for more years to come. What are your thoughts on Samsung’s displays ? Will there be a competitor in near future? Let us know in the comment section below.
