Skype Lite for low-end Android smartphones is Launched


At an event in Mumbai today Microsoft launched its Skype Lite for Low end Android Smartphones.  It was developed in Microsoft’s research and development centre in Hyderabad, India.


Skype Lite app is just 13MB in size which means you can save some space on your phones. Skype Lite app has been optimized to work on slower networks. By default, the app will compress data when you’re on cellular network. Skype Lite is packed with instant messaging, audio and video calling, and Skype’s bots.

The app will compress data when you’re on cellular network. Besides the reduction in file size and under-the-hood optimizations, there’s a lot more that the app has to offer.When you get on Fast Connection app will switch to HD calls that are the same as regular Skype calls.
