Verizon LG V20 is now receiving July 2017 security patch


Verizon LG V20 is now receiving July 2017 security patch update over the air (OTA). The software update carries software version VS99515A. It fixes number of vulnerabilities and exposures in Android operating system.

The update is pushed by Verizon over the air. So it might take some time to hit all the Verizon LG V20. You can manually check for the update in Settings -> About Phone -> Software updates -> Check For Updates. We will recommend you to connect with good Wi-Fi network. You have to maintain charging in your V20 above 50% for the update installation.

LG V20 is one of the best and unique smartphone made by LG. Removable battery, superb build quality, dual camera setup with lots of manual control, microSD card support, powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with 4 GB RAM and gorgeous 5.7 inch QHD display make it one of the best LG smartphone. What makes it unique is its secondary always on display above the main display. It is expected that LG will unveil successor of V20 on August 31 and we are eagerly looking forward for it. LG will update V20 to Android O in early 2018.
