Vivo announces FuntouchOS 11 update for Vivo V19


Keeping up with the trend of up-gradation, Vivo is rolling out FuntouchOS 11 update to eligible devices like Vivo V19, Vivo V17, Vivo V15, Vivo S1, Vivo Z1X and Z1 pro. The Vivo provides an enhanced user experience. While some models are already updated and some are under process. The company has started seeding out stable FuntouchOS 11 update to Vivo V19 owners in India.

Vivo V19 is available in the market since 2020 with a 6.4-inch display comprising Qualcomm SDM712 Snapdragon 712 (10 nm) chipset, Octa-core CPU and Adreno 616 GPU. Regarding the camera, the phone houses a quad-rear camera module consisting 48 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP sensors and dual-front camera with 32 MP + 8 MP sensors. The phone runs on Android 10-based Funtouch 10.0 version and is available in 128GB + 8GB RAM, and 256GB + 8GB RAM variant.

The Funtouch 11 OTA update for Vivo V19 consists of software version rev 6.71.16 and weighs 3.76 GB in size. Below are the primary changes that the new update carries:

  • It further enhances system performance and stability.
  • It optimises the home screen editing function and home screen display effects and display of background process.
  • Fingerprint icon, deletion of cards and numerous other dynamic animation are added.
  • It will be featuring Android 11 traits such as chat bubbles, conversation notifications, improved media controls, built-in screen recording, enhanced privacy and security, and more.

The update is rolling out for the users and it may take a few days to weeks to reach each unit. However, you can manually check for the update by heading over to the Settings > About > Check for Updates.
