Vivo Y15 Funtouch OS 11 update rolling out to limited users

Earlier this year, Vivo had announced the Funtouch OS 11 (Android 11) roll out to its series of devices. Initially, Vivo V20 received Funtouch OS 11 in October 2020, the Vivo X50 Pro started receiving the update last month, and Vivo V19 received it today. Now, it’s Vivo Y15 which is getting updated for limited users.

Vivo Y15 was launched a couple of years back on 2019, May 28 on platform OS Android 9.0 (Pie), Funtouch 9. The phone powers Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 (12 nm) chipset, Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It packs Li-Po 5000 mAh battery and triple 13 MP+ 8 MP+ 2 MP camera with 16 MP selfie camera.

Vivo Y15 was lastly updated with Android 10. The latest OTA FuntouchOS 11 underpins software version rev 6.11.0 and weighs approximately 3.79 GB. Officially the update with bringing out optimized effects and animation such as home screen editing function, home screen display effect, information layout and position of weather homepage, animation for deleting cards and so on.

Vivo is seeding out an update for limited users, probably to take a review and to ensure stability. Vivo Y15 owners can check for the update by heading to Settings> Software update.
