Xiaomi Black Shark 3S launched in China with Snapdragon 865 chipset for $563

Since the past couple of days, many companies have unveiled their gaming smartphones in China and some other countries. Namely, Lenovo Legion Phone Duel, Nubia Red Magic 5s, and Asus ROG Phone 3 are the gaming smartphones which were launched. Now, Xiaomi has finally released the Black Shark 3S smartphone in its home country (China). The device will be available in Crystal Blue and Skyfall Black colours from August 4th on JD.com and many other retail stores.

Black Shark 3S Specifications

The device fuels up with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch sampling, and 17ms latency. It is coupled with an Octa-core processor based Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. The phone is available in three variants – 12GB RAM with 128GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB + 512GB variant.

In-camera, the smartphone features a triple triangle style rear camera setup i.e 64MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture + 13MP wide-angle camera, f/2.2 aperture, and 5MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. There’s also a 20MP front-facing camera for selfies. The phone packs a 4,720 mAh battery including 65W fast charging & 18W secondary magnetic port fast charging support. It can easily charge up to 50% in 12 minutes and for a full charge (100%), it takes 38 minutes.

Xiaomi Black Shark 3s runs Android 10 based Joy UI 12 Skin with a bunch of new changes for voice control 2.0, 3D touch controls, etc. The Joy UI 12 adds Game barrage, Game macro, Hunting mode, Black Shark Moment 3.0, and many new features.
