[Update: August 2023 security patch] Xiaomi Mi 11x Series Update Tracker

After several leaks and rumours, Xiaomi introduced the Mi 11X series a few months ago. The new smartphone series was launched comprising Mi 11X, Mi 11X Pro and Mi 11i which is rebranded version of Redmi K40. All three smartphones have some differences and similarities. However, we will keep the Mi 11X update tracker up to date with the latest firmware information.

Mi 11X series comes with some exceptional features including AMOLED displays, powerful SoCs, and excellent cameras. The Mi 11X Pro runs Snapdragon 888, the Mi 11X runs Snapdragon 870.

• [August 21, 2023]: Xiaomi is rolling out a new update for the Mi 11X Pro in India. The firmware version number V14.0.4.0.TKKINXM with  August 2023 Security Update.
• [July 25, 2023]: Xiaomi is rolling out a new update for the Mi 11X in India. The firmware version number V14.0.4.0.TKHINXM with July 2023 Security Update.

• [November 15, 2022]: The Xiaomi Mi 11X in India is upgrading with new software that arrives on the firmware version V13.0.9.0.SKHINXM. It includes the November 2022 security patch. [Apply for OTA]

• [July 12, 2022]: Xiaomi is rolling out a new update for the Mi 11x. The update is live in India and comes with the firmware version number V13.0.7.0.SKHINXM. It bundles the July 2022 security patch. The update also increases the system security. If you are a Mi 11x running on V13.0.6.0, you can download the OTA update. Other users can wait for the OTA update or flash it by downloading recovery ROM. 

• [May 27, 2022]: After waiting for a couple of months, Xiaomi has started rolling out the stable MIUI 13 update for the Mi 11X Pro. The update is live for users in India and is rolling out via OTA. It comes with the firmware version number V13.0.3.0.SKKINXM. The update brings many changes and includes many new features and privacy improvements. It also gets the May 2022 security patch. Since the update is rolling out via OTA, it will take some time to reach your device. • [September 30 2021]: Xiaomi has started pushing a new update for Mi 11X Pro users in India. It is live for Mi Pilot users and has the firmware version V12.5.4.0.RKKINXM. Like the previous update for Mi 11X, the new update brings the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition (EE) to the device. We have already linked the article regarding MIUI 12.5 EE. • [September 24 2021]: Xiaomi has started pushing a new update for Mi 11X users in India. The new update comes with the build number V12.5.5.0.RKHINXM. That said, the new update comes with the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update for the device. The new Enhanced Edition brings a lot of changes internally. • [23 July 2021]: Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro started receiving a new update with the firmware version v12.5.2.0.RKKINXM. The update carries July 2021 Security patch. You can download the OTA update from here and Recovery ROM from here.
• [June 24, 2021]: The Mi 11X Pro receives  V12.5.1.0.RKKINXM firmware with MIUI 12.5 on board. It brings several add-ones apart from the usual changes and improvements. You can know more and download the update here.

Xiaomi MI 11X and Mi 11X Pro Specs

Both the smartphones ship with a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. They carry an identical 20MP front camera which resides in a punch-hole display.

The Mi 11X Pro features Snapdragon 888 SoC and Mi 11X offers Snapdragon 870 SoC. The Mi 11X Pro comes with an 8GB RAM variant only meanwhile the Mi 11X also offers a 6GB RAM option.

Both the devices feature a 4520 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
