BBC iPlayer And Media Player Apps Received Updates


Today BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) has revealed newer versions of its iPlayer and Media Player Apps. Currently updates are available for only UK version apps. You can head over to the Google Play Store to download the apps (Links down in the bottom).

Particularly BBC iPlayer app is blesssed with some new features and some improvements. they have reintroduced favorites  image quality and loading times have both been improved, along with as usual we’ve thrown in a number of bug fixes to improve the overall experience. BBC also quoted that ‘downloads’ feature remains a priority and we are working hard to determine when this can be included for Android users.

While another one is Media Player App which is now at version 2.1.0. In this version developers has emphasized much more on its stability and performance. Update includes Fixes a number of crashes that occurred on some devices when leaving the app, Audio playback is no longer interrupted during device rotation, Soft key buttons now fade from view on JellyBean devices to allow full screen playback and a number of small graphical glitches have been cleaned up.
