The new update brings dual recording camera features known as the ‘Director’s View’ that was introduced with the Galaxy S21 flagship. Samsung is rolling out a somewhat similar version of the Director’s View to the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series.

The new update

The latest update brings a new dual recording camera mode, a stripped version of the Director’s View. It lets you record video from both the front and primary rear camera at the same time. It comes with May 2021 security patch for Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20, and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

There is no official announcement if this feature will roll out for other flagships of Samsung or not including the Galaxy S20 FE and Samsung’s foldable phone. However, the users are really liking the new feature and enjoying it quite well.

The users of the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series may check for the update manually on their devices. They need to navigate to the device’s Settings > Software Update > Download and Install, if available. It may take some time for the update to reach the countries across the globe.
