Global MIUI 12 beta recruitment for pilot testers begins in India

After the official announcement of MIUI 12, Xiaomi is now working to improve its availability across different devices. Still, it’s a long way to go before getting a stable version of MIUI 12 on compatible Xiaomi smartphones. The new MIUI 12 builds need to undergo rigorous testing phases including alpha and beta before settling for the stable build. Xiaomi has started off with the first step to recruit pilot testers for its MIUI 12 Global ROM in India.

Xiaomi is inviting interested users who own the Redmi K20 series smartphone from May 6 to May 15. There are a lot more rules that the user needs to follow before becoming the pilot testers. The selected users will be able to enjoy the Global MIUI 12 ROM pre-release build. Follow the steps below to enter the MIUI 12 Global Beta testing recruitment:

  1. Join the MIUI Global Beta Testing Recruitment Telegram Group by 14th May, 9:00 PM IST>
  2. Then fill the Google Form with necessary details.

Moreover, the selected users will have privileges for special OTA update permission. The pilot testers need to report any bug to the development team via a sperate MIUI 12 telegram group. Xiaomi has asked to convey further instruction via the same MIUI 12 Telegram group.
