The previous version allowed users to trim, stabilize, and rotate their videos also. And just like the previous version, the new one also allows users to use these features, it also gives the freedom to crop the frame, export individual frames, change the perspective, and add filters. It gives users so many options to choose from while editing. It gives you the ability to change brightness, contrast, saturation, skin color, shadows, tint, warmth, and more.

There are 30 new video editing tools overall. However, it is still lacking a major feature, which is combining two video clips. Most people these days use editing apps for combining video clips and not having it is a major upset. But, the best part about Android is that you never run out of apps. So, you have plenty of options to choose from.

The new editor will be available for every android device, not just the Pixel lineup. You can directly update your Google Photos app from the Play Store and use the new editor in the latest version(v5.36.0.365895365).
