Google Assistant gets lots of new features in latest update, Includes Clock app routines, smart speaker DND, etc.

Google is rolling out new features and some improvements in the Assistant. Google has now improved the Google Assistant so that it becomes more easy and useful to communicate with smart speakers. You can see the latest features and improvements below.

  • Broadcast Reply Back – Now you can reply back to a broadcast from your friend or any family member. And the Person who broadcast the message will get a reply.
  • New content for Kids – You can set an alarm from popular animated characters from LEGO City, LEGO Life, and LEGO Friends with the Google Assistant on smart speakers. Moreover, Google has added 25 new family-friendly stories by Nickelodeon, including PAW Patrol’s “The Pups Save the Bunnies,” Dora the Explorer’s “Dora’s Super Sleepover,” Blaze and Monster Machines’ “Let’s Be Firefighters” and many more.
  • Improvement in recipes Smart Displays – To make finding new recipes on smart displays. You will get the recommended recipes even before you ask for it. These recommendations are made on the basis of previously searched recipes. Now Google make it better, now Recipies will be updated regularly on the basis of nearest meal time and whichever season.
  • Improved Podcast voice controls – If you listening to a podcast or audiobook on any device powered with Google assistant than you make it fast by just giving the voice command such as “Hey Google, play at twice the speed” or “Hey Google, play faster.”
  • Google Assistant routines in the clock app – With this improvement in routines. In Clock App when you turn off the alarm Google assistant can trigger custom routine you added. For example, after dismissing your alarm you can catch the latest news, the weather of the day, etc.
  • Now you can turn on DND on all the devices by just giving the voice command “Hey Google, Silence my phone”
