Google has just reincarnated its previous data-monitoring app, Triangle as Datally. The new avatar of the same app is now available to download on the Play Store. Datally is part of Google‘s Next Billion Users initiative, a program to penetrate low connectivity regions. The Search giant also recently launched YouTube Go as part of the same initiative. YouTube Go is a data conserving app of YouTube that allows downloading videos for offline use.
So, what additional features does Datally bring to the table? Well, its got a Wi-Fi finder for areas where you might be able to find one. This again can save you precious mobile data MBs. The primary work of the app is to keep track of data-consuming software and allow users to restrict and substitute such activity.
Further, Google also recently launched its own file manager app called Files Go which allows users to share files without the need of Internet.
Go ahead! Give it a try. It’s available globally for all users. Here is the Google Play Link for Datally.
