Early leaks for Pixel 8 have started pouring in via public certifications. The Pixel 8 marked its presence at Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) (via 9to5Google) while spilling some beans on the specifications. It is just the onset of public certifications, leaks, and rumors about the smartphone.

Google is set to launch the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro at the Hardware launch event this fall. However, there’s hardly any evident information about the upcoming flagship until now. The recent listing confirmed the presence of the Qi Wireless charging standard as its predecessor.
Qi2 Charging is not available for the Google Pixel 8
Google Pixel 8 bearing model number GKWS6 appeared on Wireless Power Consortium with Qi wireless charging support. Surprisingly, the smartphone doesn’t feature Qi2 Wireless Standard which is announced earlier this year.
Apart from Pixel 8, there are bleak chances of getting the Qi2 wireless standard on the Pixel 8 Pro. So, fingers crossed and we can’t suspect what the Pixel 8 Pro will feature, as only the Pixel 8 has surfaced on WPC.
