LG Q6 is now receiving the Android 8.1 Update in Korea

It’s been a long time since LG has introduced its LG Q6 budget smartphone in a couple of markets. Recently they have rolled out the fresh Android Oreo update for a number of their devices including the LG G6. As per the users of the South Korean region, their LG Q6 is already receiving the Android 8.1 Oreo update. It brings a number of Oreo specific features like new Notification shade, Adaptive icons, Notifications dots, etc. Along with basic features, LG has also coupled some exclusive features like Camera LED customization, LED light can now work when you receive calls, messages, Music, etc. The update also brings DTS X 3D stereo sound. After installing this new update a user will be able to scan QR codes directly from the camera app.

The update is reaching as an OTA and weighs mammoth at 1170 MB. So we will suggest you using a speedy internet connection. There is no confirmation from the brand that when other regions will be getting this Oreo update.
